Family members

A Marine
Corps honor guard carries the casket of fellow Marine Lance Cpl. Chad R
Hildebrandt after funeral services at the Maxwell High School gymnasium on
Sunday afternoon in Maxwell, N.M. Hildebrandt was killed Oct. 17 near the
Iraq-Syria border during a patrol in the aftermath of the Iraqi national
referendum. His family said he enemy fighters shot him after he had
dismounted from his vehicle during a firefight.
Donald
Pummill, age 3, the son of Marine Staff Sgt. Rick Pummill, touches his

Ohio, on Thursday. Pummill was killed by a roadside bomb near Nasser Wa
Salaam, 25 miles west of Baghdad, last week. He served with the 2nd
Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary
Force, based in Camp Lejeune, N.C.
